COMMUNITY LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT

Each article on the site has been assessed against 12 priorities, and features icons below the Summary box for each priority area it relates to.

The 12 priorities, which are drawn from the Community Plan focus areasprotected characteristic groups, and emerging issues, are as follows: Resilient Communities, Fairer More Equal Glasgow, Economic Growth, Childcare, TransportYoung People, BME Communities, Disabled Communities, LGBTQ+Community Learning and Development, Climateand COVID Recovery.

The icons featured on each story have been allocated where the work has been assessed to make a positive contribution to one of the following:

  • Addressing the issues associated with a priority area
  • Addressing an issue that disproportionately affects a protected characteristic group
  •  Facilitating future work that will meet either of the above criteria

Community Learning and Development planning and activities in Glasgow reflect a person-centred approach and shared commitment by partners to work collaboratively, both within CLD and with wider partners, to overcome the most significant issues facing our city, adopting a focussed approach to ensure CLD is targeted at those who need it most.
